Star Wars Pancakes!

Mmmmm, pancakes taste better when they are in fun shapes!
I used the recipe that came with the molds because I'd heard from some friends that have these that it works the best from the recipes they've tried.  It made very delicious pancakes.  Here it is:

2 eggs
3 cups AP flour, sifted
3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
4 Tbs melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In a bowl, whisk eggs until frothy.  Add rest of ingredients and still until batter is smooth and no lumps remain (I found out this is important if you use squeeze bottles) but do not overmix.  Heat griddle to medium and then continue with steps below.
Grease molds and griddle generously and then place the molds on the hot griddle to heat up.

Fill the molds about half-way up with pancake batter.  I honestly have no idea how you could do this without a squeeze bottle of some type.  I just bought a cheap one and cut off the tip to make it larger.

After about 2 minutes you can carefully remove the molds and flip the pancakes.

Finish cooking the other side (about 2 more minutes) and then start all over again!  You may need to re-grease the griddle and/or molds periodically.
